The Abrishami Synagogue and Educational complex was constructed with the financial support of one of the community’s benefactors, “Baruch Shahri”, and also engineer “Hooshang Elyasian”. It was named the Rosa Mikvah in memory of Baruch Shahri’s wife, Rosa Shahri (Deborah).
The Rosa Mikveh was inaugurated on March 5, 1998, corresponding to Adar 17, 5758 in the Hebrew calendar, which is the birthday of Moses ben Amram.
The Rosa (Deborah) Mikveh is open to women of the Jewish community at a set time each day. Subsequently, the “Aaron” Mikveh was inaugurated for the use of men in the southeastern corner of the courtyard of the Abrishami (Moses ben Amram) Complex with the cooperation of Aaron Sheraga and other benefactors of the community.
